Due to additional information obtained and recent postings on local LPE social media sites regarding plans for the upcoming holiday golf cart parade - the Civic Association has submitted a formal letter to the LPE ISD of their withdrawal as the potential event coordinator for this event. The letter identified the absolute need that in order for the LPE Civic Association to take the lead for the event it would have to 1st and foremost fall into the category of  a "private" golf cart parade for our residents!  It would also be required that all participants would be golf carts and follow and adhere to the laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines of the State of Florida, Pasco County, and the LPE Pasco County Commissioners 2018 Resolution that created the LPE as a legally recognized Golf Cart Community.  The Civic Association is unable to offer anything outside of these items.

The LPE Civic Association is unable to approve support of a Public Golf Cart Parade that includes outside residents, and anything other than golf carts, therefore the LPECA has put on hold their taking the lead for this event.  Should the community decide on a future Private Resident Event with Golf Carts Only the Civic Association has agreed to reopen their ability to place the community event under their events for our residents.  Until that time, it is at the discretion of the residents and the not the LPE Civic Association on this moving forward.

Some of you may have received in ERROR an email notice from the LPE Civic Association that your membership has Lapsed. My apologies - totally our fault as we missed doing a system update and resetting the automated reminder notice.  If you have already paid your 2024 Membership dues, no worries they are entered and the system is updating.  No excuse- but If we had to give one, it would be  more of a reminder that -  the Civic Association is a 100% Volunteer Nonprofit Organization. To Those Who Have Paid Their 2024 Membership Dues THANK YOU!
