Do you have a Rembrandt, Monet, or maybe an O'Keeffe Wanna-Be in your family?

Regardless of your child's artistic ability with a paint brush, you are invited to register them for the LPE Civic Association for our 1st Annual Arts in the Park event.

The LPECA will be holding an Arts in the Park, two-part event, Part I will be held on Saturday, June 19 at Laird Park from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  The event is open to LPE residents and their families and is a free event sponsored by the LPE Civic Association. All artists must be pre-registered to participate and this event is limited to the first 25 participants to register. Registration will close on Wednesday, June 16 @ noon.

All supplies; paint, brushes, and canvas will be provided. We suggest having your child dress in either an old shirt or smock to protect clothing - even though we are using washable paints.  Attendees will be creating park scenery on canvas.

Part II of Arts in the Park - LPE Gallery & Viewing of Artist's Displays will be held on Saturday, June 26 at the Kaminski Park (stables) clubhouse at 6 pm. Visit our website for more information and updates.  www.lpeca.org  or Register Here.  You will need to use your LPE ISD park gate access to enter the parks for these events.

    • LPE Kaminski Park - Stables Clubhouse

Due to a majority of the terms of the previous LPE ISD Board of Supervisors expiring on 11/17/2020, and Governor DeSantis not yet having made any interim appointments to the LPE ISD this will be an informational meeting, since there is not a quorum of active board members to conduct business.  Meeting starts at 6:30 p.m at the Kaminski Park Stables Clubhouse on the third Thursday of each month.   Agenda & Documents Link - Click Here

"NOTICE from the LPE ISD:  Any LPEISD resident that has not obtained new decals for their vehicles is subject to having their gate access card deactivated.  Please contact LPEISD staff to obtain your new decals."Please put a note in the mailbox at Lake Padgett with your contact information so an appointment can be scheduled.

Thank you to those residents who have obtained their new decals. Your key cards have been updated and should be working well. If an issue please contact Steve R and Tony.

This is message from LPE ISD Supervisor, Pam Carr taken from LPE Unoffical FB page on 1/15/2021:

Just to let you know that the upcoming meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Lake Padgett Estates Independent Special District that was to be held on January 21, has been canceled. Any meeting would only be informational. Cancellation is being fiscally responsible as it will save the district money by not having to pay those who would be attending.

The Operations and Maintenance Budget continues to be in line with previous months and years. There is no new business to be conducted as there is no quorum. Old business and items previously approved by the board are ongoing.

There is no update on appointing the previous supervisors from Governor DeSantis yet.

Decals and key cards are being updated this week and weekend. After that you will need to schedule a time with Steve and Tony to get you decals and key cards reactivated.

If planning on running to become a supervisor, this is the week to get your paperwork done and turned in.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding at this time - (End msg)
