 Unless otherwise stated - all events are open to Lake Padgett Estates Residents and their guests only. Events may be postponed, rescheduled, or canceled due to weather or other reasons as deemed necessary by the LPECA Board of Directors. 


LAKE PADGETT ESTATES CIVIC ASSOCIATION, INC.  meets the 4th Tuesday of each quarter (January, April, July, and October) at the Kaminski Park Clubhouse,  Start time is 7:00 p.m.   Reminder: Any items related to the LPE Parks and Recreational areas within the District need to be directed to the LPE Independent Special District  (ISD) and must be brought directly to the ISD Board at their meeting on the 3rd Thursday of each month. LPE Civic Association 2024 Annual Events Listing 

  • Future 2024 events may also include ice cream socials, game night, waterski, fishing or boating safety clinics, resident vendor opportunities, and other events.  Additionally, many of our residents pool together to sponsor neighborhood events independently from the LPE Civic Association,  such as the annual Lake Saxon Chili Cook-Off event and misc. golf cart and boat parades throughout the year. If you have an event you'd like to suggest please contact the LPECA via email at  info@lpeca.org   All events held in the parks need approval of the LPE ISD Board of Supervisors and approval of insurance coverage. 

Saturday, March 23, 2024  Welcome Spring & Easter Egg Hunt   Laird Park Time 2 pm to 3:30 pm 

Lake Padgett’s Annual Spring Egg Hunt is a fun holiday activity for kids of all ages. 100's of eggs will be divided into color-coded age groups, and then spread throughout Laird Park. There are also plenty of springtime themed crafts and games to round out the fun. Be sure to bring your best basket, and hop on over for an “egg”cellently fun day!

In memory of LPE Resident, Dan Gramer - the LPE Civic Association and LPE Independent Special District Board of Supervisors invite you to attend a very Special Memorial Dedication to Dan Gramer - Celebrating Living the Lake Life.   Lake Padgett Dan Gramer Park Saturday, April 20th at 2 pm    MORE information available soon. 



Due to the dedication of the Lake Padgett Park event on April 20th at Lake Padgett Park the LPE Civic Association will be rescheduling the LPE Civic Association's Resident Appreciation Day for later in the year. 

Saturday,  October 5th   -  LPECA Fall Community Yard Sale Event

LPE residents have the option to participate in our Spring LPECA Community Yard Sale Event.  It's as easy as 1, 2, 3, and 4.  1. Collect items you want to get rid of.  2. LPECA will promote the event by posting signs around the local area and posting notice(s) on social media and local news outlets. 3. Day of event: stage your driveway/front yard and Sell, Sell, Sell!  4. Remove all unsold items from your driveway and front yard and celebrate your earnings! Email us at info@lpeca.org if you have additional questions.

Saturday, October 26, 2024, LPECA Trunk or Treat Event - Lake Saxon Park       Time:  2 pm to 3:30 pm 

Join the LPE Civic Association for our Annual Trunk or Treat Event!  Our resident ghosts, goblins, superheroes, princesses and ??? will visit from vehicle to vehicle (or golf cart) collecting their candies and goodies (supplied by LPECA) in a safe family-friendly candy exchange for LPE Residents and their guests. This event is open to all LPE residents, and we'll have some prizes, giveaways, and BOO knows... maybe even a few other surprises. Prizes for Best Costumes by age groups and one for Family Costume category will be announced.  Registration is available but not necessary to attend.

 This event is open to all LPE residents and is sponsored by the LPECA. Become a member today!   JOIN the LPECA 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:  LPE residents are needed to help pass out candies to our ghosts, goblins and little ones please email us if you can help and then plan to decorate your golf cart or vehicle and head on over to Lake Saxon Park on Saturday, October 26.  Volunteers willing to help pass out our pre-bagged candy please arrive at 1:30 pm for staging before our guests arrive.  Contact us at info@lpeca.org  if you are willing to volunteer in vehicle or golf cart to pass out goodies.

12/18/2023  UPDATE:  After having to postpone the Holiday Lights judging due to weather conditions.  Our Secret Elves have confirmed to Wednesday, 12/20 and Thursday, 12/21.  Please turn your light displays on by 6 pm.  Thank you and Happy Holidays to All! 

LPE Annual Holiday Lights Contest - Judging:    Thursday, December 14th & Friday, December 15th @ 6:00 pm.     Judging will begin at 6 pm so be sure to turn on your light display as judges have a lot of territory to cover.  Winners will be announced via our website by Sunday, December 17th @ 4 pm

Saturday, November 11,  2023 Civic Association Special Veterans Day - Residents

 Appreciation &  Resident Businesses Display Event

 Laird Park  11:30 am to 3:00 pm

Come join us for our annual Civic Association Residents Appreciation Day and special Veteran's Day Celebration.   Featuring our very own LPE Residents Stephen & Sarah Danek Owners and Operators of The Pizza Creator Food Truck. We are offering a full performance show by the Tampa Bay Water Ski Show Team, along with activities, games, and special Veteran's Day Recognition and activities. There's something for the entire family to enjoy! The kids will be plenty busy with activities and LPE Residents are welcomed and encouraged to set up a vendor table showcasing their businesses, crafts, or local services.  The day cumulates with the amazing display of talent from the Tampa Bay Water Ski Show Team and who knows what other surprises we'll have in store for everyone??

ART In the PARK - A family event

Session I: Creating Art - Laird Park - Saturday, June 3, 2023, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Pre-registration required)   

Do you have a Rembrandt, Monet, or maybe an O'Keeffe Wanna-Be in your family? 

Regardless of your child's artistic or building ability LPE RESIDENTS are invited to register for the LPE Civic Association for our 2nd Annual Arts in the Park family event. The LPECA will be holding an Arts in the Park, two-part event, Part I will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event is open to LPE residents and their families and is a free event sponsored by the LPE Civic Association.

All supplies will be provided. We suggest having your child dress in either an old shirt or smock to protect clothing. Adults are welcome to join in with pre-registration. 

Part II of Arts in the Park - LPE Gallery & Viewing of Artist's Displays will be held on Saturday, June 10th at the Kaminski Park (stables) clubhouse at 1 p.m.

You will need to use your LPE ISD park gate access to enter the parks for these events. 

   

 Saturday, October 2, 2021 Fall Community Yard Sale

Cleaning out the closets, backroom, patio, or garage - turn it into to cash during our Spring or Fall LPECA Community Yard Sale. The LPECA will put out event signs, ad in local newspaper and help to promote the event. You decide how much or how little you want to participate. Good Selling. We'll post more details as the date gets closer. 


Saturday, June 19, Laird Park 11 am to 1 pm (Pre-registration required)

Do you have a Rembrandt, Monet, or maybe an O'Keeffe Wanna-Be in your family? 

Regardless of your child's artistic ability with a paint brush, you are invited to register them for the LPE Civic Association for our 1st Annual Arts in the Park event. The LPECA will be holding an Arts in the Park, two-part event, Part I will be held on Saturday, June 19 at Laird Park from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  The event is open to LPE residents and their families and is a free event sponsored by the LPE Civic Association. All artists must be pre-registered to participate, this event is limited to the first 25 participants to register. Registration will close on Wednesday, June 16 @ noon.

All supplies: paint, brushes, and canvas will be provided. We suggest having your child dress in either an old shirt or smock to protect clothing - even though we are using washable paints.  Attendees will be creating park scenery on canvas. 

Part II of Arts in the Park - LPE Gallery & Viewing of Artist's Displays will be held on Saturday, June 26 at the Kaminski Park (stables) clubhouse at 6 pm.  You will need to use your LPE ISD park gate access to enter the parks for these events.

Saturday, February 13, 2021, LPE Laird Park (East Lake) Time 2 to 4 pm

Residents of Lake Padgett Estates are invited to join the LPE Civic Association on  Saturday, February 13th for our First Valentine Celebration and Scavenger Hunt for our younger residents.  Event will be held at Laird Park (East Lake) at the Corner of Collier & Parkway Blvd. This is an LPE Resident Event please plan to have your gate pass to enter the park. Time of the event TBA - watch this website for more information.  Want to be a volunteer day of?  Email us at info@lpeca.org, we'd love to have you join. 

LAKE PADGETT ESTATES CIVIC ASSOCIATION, INC.  meets the 4th Tuesday of each new quarter (January, April, July, and October) at the Kaminski Park Clubhouse -  start time is 7:00 p.m.  Items related to the LPE Independent Special District (ISD) which includes any and all discussions regarding the maintenance and operations of the LPE Parks and Recreational areas within the District, must be brought directly to the ISD Board or their management company. 

LPE Independent Special District (ISD) Board meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Kaminski Park Clubhouse.  Residents that wish to place an item on to the ISD Agenda must contact the ISD District Manager Sean Craft at the Rizzetta Management Company prior to the meeting:   scraft@rizzetta.com or 813-994-1001 The ISD is responsible for anything and everything relating to the LPE Parks and Recreational areas within the District, including gate passes, decals, access, etc.
