• Springtime Egg Hunt and Kids Event:

Lake Padgett’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt is a fun holiday activity for kids of all ages. 100's of eggs will be divided into appropriate age groups, and then spread throughout the fields of Laird Park. There are also some springtime themed crafts and activities to round out the event.  Be sure to bring your best basket, and hop on over for an “egg”cellently fun day!

• Civic Association Residents Appreciation Day: 

Come join us for our annual Civic's Residents Appreciation Day! Featuring entertainment, ski-show, and games. There's something for the entire family to enjoy! The kids will be plenty occupied with face painting, game activities,  and we'll have plenty of local vendor booths showcasing our LPE resident's businesses and crafters .  The day cumulates with the amazing display of talent from the Tampa Bay Water Ski  Show Team and who knows what other surprises we'll have in store for everyone including raffle prizes, food, games and ??  Want to be a vendor drop us an email at info@lpeca.org or register via our website.  Due to a conflict in scheduling The Lint Rollers will be unable to join us for our Annual Residents Appreciation Event in 2022.  

• Movies in the Park:

Join us as we spend an evening under the stars with family, friends, and neighbors  along with some movie snacks while watching a classic movie themed to the season. Our family-friendly movie nights are hosted by the LPE Civic Association at one of our neighborhood parks which includes playground areas for the kids to enjoy as we wait for the sun to set and the show to begin!  Thank you Oakes & Associates Insurance (Land O Lakes) for sponsoring these wonderful family events. 

• Art in the Park:  

Do you have a young Rembrandt, Matisse, or O'Keefe at home?  Plan to attend this once a year event sponsored by the Civic Association. This is a two part event with the first weekend including the artists creating their very own "work of art" while gathered at one of our preselected community parks and then cumulates the following weekend at our  Artist Show & Gallery Exhibition when the young artists display their "work of art"  for all to enjoy when the Kaminski Park Clubhouse transforms into our very own neighborhood Art Gallery.   Activities may vary from year-to-year. 

• Trunk or Treat:

Residents Decorate your cars or Golf carts and fill them with goodies for a howin’ good time! Come join us for our annual Trunk or Treat! Hosted at one of our three beautiful neighborhood parks, there is plenty to see as the little ghouls and goblins, princesses and super heros gather as a parade through the park for all to see in this family-friendly candy exchange.

• Community Yard Sales (Spring and Fall):

Residents have the option to participate in our bi-annual community yard sales (Spring & Fall).  Just collect what you want to get rid of and then stage your driveway or front yard for your yard sale.  can participate from their own homes as the LPE Civic Association will promote in print, social media and signage the LPE Community

 

• Winter Holiday Kids Crafting Event:

Kids of all ages come enjoy holiday treats, hot chocolate, and crafting events along with a surprise guest appearence by...you know who!  

• Holiday Light Decorations Judging Event:

Our judges scour every street in LPE to create a list of the some of the beautiful, stunning, fun and whimsical holiday lights and decorations.  Once judging has been completed we will post a listing of the winners. Show us your holiday spirit and see if you can win one of our 20 different awards to recognize your efforts.
