    • LPE Kaminski Park - Stables Clubhouse

Due to a majority of the terms of the previous LPE ISD Board of Supervisors expiring on 11/17/2020, and Governor DeSantis not yet having made any interim appointments to the LPE ISD this will be an informational meeting, since there is not a quorum of active board members to conduct business.  Meeting starts at 6:30 p.m at the Kaminski Park Stables Clubhouse on the third Thursday of each month.   Agenda & Documents Link - Click Here

This is message from LPE ISD Supervisor, Pam Carr taken from LPE Unoffical FB page on 1/15/2021:

Just to let you know that the upcoming meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Lake Padgett Estates Independent Special District that was to be held on January 21, has been canceled. Any meeting would only be informational. Cancellation is being fiscally responsible as it will save the district money by not having to pay those who would be attending.

The Operations and Maintenance Budget continues to be in line with previous months and years. There is no new business to be conducted as there is no quorum. Old business and items previously approved by the board are ongoing.

There is no update on appointing the previous supervisors from Governor DeSantis yet.

Decals and key cards are being updated this week and weekend. After that you will need to schedule a time with Steve and Tony to get you decals and key cards reactivated.

If planning on running to become a supervisor, this is the week to get your paperwork done and turned in.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding at this time - (End msg)

Due to the cold front/storm that moved through our area earlier this evening the notification of our Holiday Light Displays Award Winners will be delayed until Thursday evening. The final listing will be posted online on or before Friday. There were so many amazing displays and congratulations to everyone who participated and added to bringing the Spirit of the Season throughout the neighborhood.

The issue was created when only one person that was interested in running for the Board of Supervisors of the LPE Independent Special District got their documents in on time to qualified for the general election ballot. The  LPE ISD must now wait for Governor DeSantis to appoint at minimum another 2 people to the Board of Supervisors so that it can legally function and do new business with a quorum.  Click here to see attached a link to the letter from the LPEISD Legal Counsel Tim Hayes, as he provides some additional information on how our residents to help by making contact w our State Legislators and the Governor.
