The January regular Monthly Meeting & Elections of the LPE Civic Association
Due to circumstances beyond of our control the LPECA Biennial Elections of our volunteer Board of Directors was postponed in November. The elections are open to residents of the LPE that are current 2022 Members of the LPE Civic Association.
If you are interested in running for a Director position please contact the LPECA via email prior to the cutoff date for having name placed on the ballot which is 12:00 am on 1/23/2022. Send your name, address, email, and phone and we will contact you.
Interested candidates should make sure they can make the commitment to the minimum 2-year term, be available to attend monthly meetings, attend and support as a volunteer at our planned events, participate in committee work or leadership and understand the basic requirements and legal responsibilities of serving as a board member for a nonprofit corporation. This is 100% a volunteer position. Pre-notification of intent to run is appreciated and preferred, however, floor nominations may also be accepted if they meet all the necessary rules as to the election process.
REMINDER: This is NOT the elections for the LPE Independent Special District Board of Supervisors. That election is handled via the Pasco County Supervisor of Elections Office and requires a Candidate to complete the State of Florida Election Pre-qualifying Process to be on the November General Election Ballot in 2022.
